Play Sparks was born from my deep belief that the best kind of play has no instructions. Watching my own children play, I quickly learned that when play comes from a child’s own imagination, it builds problem-solving skills, creative and critical thinking, and real confidence. That kind of play is also the most engaging. It is where my kids wouldn’t just play for minutes, they would play for hours. I went on a relentless search to see what would spark this kind of play. I discovered that the most magical moments happened when the toys I set out shared a loose theme but offered no directions on what to do next. Children took over from there, creating worlds, stories, games, and solutions entirely their own. 

I created Play Sparks to share that joy with families who want meaningful, engaging play without the noise, clutter, or batteries.
